Our six-bay shop in Locust, NC works primarily on domestic and Asian vehicles, including light-duty diesel trucks, with limited European vehicle work. You’ll see a healthy mix of mechanical repairs, maintenance, and challenging diagnostic work. With Snap-on, Autel, Pico, and Bartec diagnostic equipment, shop-provided specialty tools, and weekly company-paid training, you can stay ahead of the technology curve. We’d rather take the time to diagnose a problem correctly and deliver a repair we can stand behind than push cars out the door.

With a Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule, three-day weekends every week, and earning potential of $60,000 to $100,000+ per year, this is the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level.

What you’ll be doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing domestic and Asian vehicles, including light-duty diesel trucks
• Performing advanced brake, steering, suspension, and cooling system repairs
• Handling engine repairs, timing components, and transmission or driveline removal and replacement
• Diagnosing electrical, drivability, and intermittent concerns using wiring diagrams, scan data, DVOMs, and advanced diagnostic equipment
• Building a repair strategy from your test results instead of replacing parts based on fault codes
• Performing thorough Vehicle Health Inspections in Tekmetric, including customer-facing videos that show what you’ve found
• Documenting every repair clearly: the cause, the correction, and how the repair was verified
• Working closely with our service advisors to give customers accurate repair recommendations
• Helping apprentices and younger technicians grow their skills

What we’re looking for:

• Valid driver’s license
• Professional automotive repair experience, with the ability to complete mechanical repairs on your own
• A strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
• The ability to diagnose electrical and drivability concerns using the right testing methods
• Comfort with scan tools, live data, wiring diagrams, and electrical testing equipment
• Clear communication, both verbally and in writing
• Your own set of basic professional automotive tools
• Strong attention to detail, productivity, and quality workmanship
• A team-player attitude and a willingness to help developing technicians

Bonus points if you have:

• Five or more years of professional automotive repair experience
• ASE certifications, especially ASE Master Technician with L1 or L2
• Experience with advanced electrical diagnostics, network communication systems, and module testing
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, pressure transducers, and other advanced diagnostic equipment
• Experience working on domestic and Asian vehicles, including light-duty diesel
• The ability to mentor less-experienced technicians
